Seek truth by learning and promote teaching by research. On the morning of November 20th, Anqing Foreign Language School held the opening report meeting of the project in municipal level--Precise Teaching Practice Research on Cultivating High school Students' Subject Core Quality in the conference room on the first floor of the administration Building. In attendance were Director Sun Yan of the Municipal  Teaching and Research Office, Director Jiang Longlin of the Theoretical Laboratory of the Municipal Teaching and Research Office, Anqing Foreign Language School's President Madam Huang Wenli, Project Host Liu Bing and members of the research group. The seminar was presided over by Vice Principal Liu Bing.
At the beginning of the meeting, President Madam Huang Wenli gave a welcome speech. Madam President pointed out the significance of the research project, put forward specific requirements to the members of the research team, and wished the expected results of the project.
In addition, Vice Principal Liu Bing announced the notice of project approval to the attendees, and then Subject Facilitator  Yang Hanpei made a comprehensive and systematic opening report on behalf of the research group in terms of the background and significance of the research project, research contents, steps and methods, the expected results as well as the presentation of the results, which was followed by the division and arrangement of the research work of the members with the research group.
Later on, Director Jiang Longlin affirmed the value of the project, and highly praised the strong atmosphere of teaching and research in Anqing Foreign Language School in that our school has fully prepared for the opening topic with clear research ideas. Also, Director Jiang Longlin put forward suggestions for the project. Moreover, Director Sun Yan delivered an important speech, pointing out that the subject should be implemented into classroom teaching research, and the characteristics of subject activities, namely practicality, thinking, initiative and independence, should be paid attention to, and the students should be stimulated to deep learning.
Last but not the least, Vice Principal Liu Bing made a summary speech and thanked the experts for their guidance. He said that with the care and support of all the leaders and the joint efforts of all the members of the research group, this project would surely achieve fruitful results and be concluded smoothly as scheduled.
In brief, through this opening report meeting, all members of the research group further clarified the thinking and steps of the research, and enhanced the confidence of doing well the research. It's believed that under the guidance of the experts from a strategically advantageous position and under the joint efforts of all the research team members, the research of this topic will be a complete success.
